Rose Villa Nursing Home

Rose Villa Nursing Home is registered to support up to 36 people, including older people, those living with dementia and people with a physical disability. Inspectors found continued breaches of regulation around safe and effective care, person-centred care, staff recruitment checks and governance, despite some improvements since the last assessment. Systems introduced to monitor quality were not consistently applied or embedded.

Infection control and risk management were not always effective, and care did not always reflect people's preferences. Medicines management had improved, and people were supported to make choices about their lives. The service is no longer in Special Measures, though it remains rated Requires Improvement overall.
