Casterbridge Lodge

Casterbridge Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 35 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 30 people were being supported. The CQC rated the service Good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating, with the provider no longer in breach of regulations.

Inspectors found staff to be exceptionally kind, attentive and respectful of people's individuality and choices. People and relatives praised the balance struck between independence and safety, describing staff as approachable and caring. Partnership working with outside professionals also supported effective, well-led care.
