Care at Parkside

Parkside provides residential care and accommodation for up to 24 people in Oldham, with 15 residents at the time of inspection. The home was clean, nicely decorated, and maintained good infection control practices. Staff had received safeguarding training and knew how to identify and report concerns, with sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs and keep them safe.

Inspectors identified improvements needed in medicine administration documentation and service governance. While audits and checks were completed regularly, some were not effective and action had not always been taken when problems were identified. Overall, feedback from relatives about the home was positive.
