Franklin House Limited

Franklin House is a residential care home supporting up to 35 people living with dementia. Following a focused assessment prompted by concerns, the CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found people were protected from abuse, risks were well managed, and staff worked within the Mental Capacity Act, with care plans giving clear guidance for safe, responsive support.

Staff recruitment was robust, and people and relatives praised the kind, attentive care and the management team. However, inspectors were not assured staffing levels were always sufficient, medicines records were not always accurate, and auditing systems needed improvement, though these were being addressed during the assessment.
