Boston House

Boston House provides accommodation and support for people with complex needs following brain injuries. The service, based in Oldham, supports up to 17 people across three units: Rose, Lavender, and Sunflower. At inspection, 14 people were living there, with three more independent residents on Rose unit, six people on Lavender unit each with their own studio apartment and ensuite facilities, and five people with higher dependency levels on Sunflower unit.

Medication management had been flagged as a concern at the previous inspection. While managers had addressed most previous issues, inspectors found some medicines remained unsafely managed during this visit. The provider responded immediately to identified problems both during and after the inspection.
