Capri

Capri provides accommodation for up to nine people living with dementia, mental health needs, or physical disabilities. The home offers single bedrooms and suitable communal facilities. Residents reported being happy at Capri and were observed being treated with kindness and compassion by staff who supported them to live as they wished. Staff demonstrated understanding of equality and diversity, treating people with dignity while respecting their privacy.

The service supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. Residents were encouraged to be as independent as possible. The registered manager and staff collaborated with external professionals to ensure effective care and health needs were met. Staff understood how to keep people safe from harm, and residents confirmed they felt safe. Infection prevention and control measures were in place and followed by staff, and people received their medicines safely and as prescribed.
