Caprera

Caprera provides residential care and personal care for up to 31 older people, with nursing services supplied by the community nursing team. At the time of inspection, 27 people lived at the service. Residents expressed satisfaction with their care, saying "I am very happy here" and "I am well cared for and have a lovely view from my room." One relative noted the service was "lovely" and praised staff communication, saying "they speak with me all the time, they are very communicative." Inspectors observed that people looked happy and comfortable, with staff spending time chatting with residents as they moved around.

Staff provided support in line with people's preferences, offering maximum choice and control while working in their best interests. The service had sufficient staff numbers to meet people's needs, with staff completing induction, training and supervision. Residents were supported with social interaction and afternoon activities.
