Cann House Care Home

Cann House provides personal and nursing care for up to 62 residents in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 47 people were living there. The home has made improvements in how it assesses, monitors and manages risks to residents. People reported feeling safe with the support they receive from staff, and the home ensures residents receive their medicines as prescribed while being protected from avoidable harm and abuse.

The service maintains adequate staffing levels to meet residents' needs, with recruitment processes in place to ensure new staff are suitable for their roles. Staff members feel supported by the management team and have the necessary skills to provide quality care. The home follows established procedures to safeguard residents and maintain their wellbeing.
