Camellots Care Home

Camellots Care Home provides residential accommodation and personal care for up to 9 people living with a learning disability and autistic people, with spaces split between a main house and an annexe. At inspection, 7 people were living in the main building and 1 in the annex. The home offers single occupancy rooms across two floors with communal spaces including a sitting room, conservatory and dining room.

Staff generally supported people to make choices and decisions about their lives in the least restrictive way possible, with policies and systems in place to facilitate this. However, inspectors found that not all residents had sufficient opportunities to build skills and participate in individual activities that would help them develop greater independence and control over aspects of their own lives.
