Butterfly's Care Home

Butterfly's care home on Bromley Road provides accommodation for up to nine adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care needs. The service is located in Colchester, Essex, split across two adjoining bungalows, with each person having their own single room. Communal facilities include a bathroom, shower room, kitchen, dining room and lounge, with a rear enclosed garden offering level access. The home is designed around values of choice, promotion of independence and inclusion.

At the time of inspection, all nine available places were occupied. The service has addressed previous medication management shortfalls identified in an earlier inspection.
