Burlingham House

Burlingham House provides personal and nursing care to 26 people, with capacity for up to 49. The home supports people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia, and people under 65 with mental health support needs. The service occupies a period building across two floors plus a purpose-built extension, with numerous communal spaces and secure gardens.

Staff provide exceptionally person-centred care that residents and families consistently praised. Care workers know people very well and tailor support to individual needs, preferences, and goals, with staff showing high levels of empathy when supporting people with distressed behaviours. The home engages people on a one-to-one basis to develop activities and menus that reflect personal preferences, resulting in real improvements in physical and mental health outcomes. People are truly accepted as individuals and supported to achieve their goals.
