About Bryony Lodge

Bryony Lodge is a residential care home in Hampshire, supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Bryony Lodge is a residential care home supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people, with capacity for eight residents. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following concerns about people's care. Inspectors found continued shortfalls in fire safety, infection control and medicines management, and said governance had not ensured problems were promptly addressed, though a new manager had begun making changes.

Staff were found to be kind and respectful, and people were supported by those who knew them well. Some relatives said communication with the new manager could improve, and inspectors felt people would benefit from more meaningful activities, though plans to address this were underway.
