Orchard Close provides short term respite care for adults with learning disabilities, accommodating up to 15 people. During inspection, two people were resident at the home. The service supports people to live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence through person-centred support that is planned and coordinated to meet individual needs.

Staff supported people in a kind and caring way, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout the home. Both people using the service and their families spoke positively about the management and staff, and were actively involved in making decisions about their care and support. Systems were in place to protect people from harm, including proper management of medicines.
