Broadmeadow

Broadmeadow provides intermediate care, short-term respite and dementia care in a purpose-built setting with 43 bedrooms and 5 flats spread across two floors. The home had 14 residents living there at the time of inspection. A designated care section accommodates eight people with its own separate entrance, enclosed outdoor area and spacious indoor communal space designed to support safe social distancing.

The service demonstrated good infection control practices, providing visitors with individual personal protective equipment packs and requiring visits to be pre-arranged. The care home's facilities and procedures reflected consideration for residents' safety and wellbeing.
