Brinsworth House

Brinsworth House is a residential care home providing nursing and personal care to older people, supporting 31 residents at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service good overall, continuing its previous rating. Inspectors found staff managed risk and safeguarding well, supported people to give informed consent, and involved families in best interest decisions where needed.

The environment had been refurbished and remained safe.

Staffing levels were sufficient, with well trained and supported staff who understood their roles. Residents, relatives and visiting professionals praised the kind, compassionate care and person-centred approach. The CQC found people were treated with respect and given genuine choice and control over their care.
