This residential care home supports 14 people aged 18 to 65 living with substance misuse or mental health conditions, with capacity for up to 19 residents. The adapted building provides each person with their own room featuring a kitchenette, lounge and sleeping area. Staff demonstrate good understanding of safeguarding and residents feel confident raising concerns with the registered manager. Safety checks are regularly completed and equipment receives appropriate servicing.

However, medicines management presents significant concerns. Recording was found to be incomplete and sometimes inaccurate, with insufficient information available to guide staff in administering PRN medicines. The premises required better maintenance and cleaning standards, with issues including scuffed paintwork that hindered sanitising and unsealed edges to toilet flooring. Although the registered manager has been responsive to these concerns and maintenance work is underway, documentation of completed works was not always available to verify improvements.
