About Blackwells

Blackwells is a residential care home in Herefordshire, providing personal care for older people with learning disabilities. Further details on the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Blackwells is a residential care home providing personal care for up to seven people with learning disabilities, aged 65 and over. The service is designed to enable people to live full, meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence, delivering person-centred support that is appropriate and inclusive. The home accommodates seven people and, while larger than current best practice guidance recommends, the building is designed to fit into the residential area and blends in with other large domestic properties in the neighbourhood.

There are deliberately no identifying signs, intercoms, cameras, or industrial bins outside to indicate it is a care home.
