Beggars Roost Nursing Home

This residential care home provides personal and nursing care for up to 26 people, with 17 residents at the time of inspection. The service has implemented comprehensive infection control measures that residents felt safe with. The layout has been reorganized to support social distancing, with chairs spaced apart in the lounge and additional covered seating areas created in the garden. All visitors and contractors undergo lateral flow device tests on arrival, and visiting arrangements comply with government guidance with a separate entrance clearly signaled outside the premises.

The home conducts regular whole home testing for Covid-19 with all residents and staff participating. Personal protective equipment is readily available throughout the service and staff use it appropriately.
