Beechwood

Beechwood provides personal care to eight people with learning disabilities and autism. Although larger than best practice guidance recommends, the service delivers individual, person-centred care that maximises residents' independence, choice and community involvement. Staff are described as kind and considerate, with a registered manager and team that regularly go above and beyond to meet people's needs and preferences.

People participate in meaningful activities including social groups and volunteering in the local community. Relatives and professionals hold the service in high regard, with one family member commenting that their relative has made significant progress over 19 years and been encouraged to be as independent as possible. The registered manager and staff team are praised for their commitment and care.
