Beechdale House Care Home

Beechdale House in Nottingham provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 40 older people and those living with dementia, with 31 residents present during inspection. Staff demonstrated good knowledge of residents' needs and managed risks effectively to ensure safe care and treatment. Medicines were administered safely and on time, while infection prevention measures were maintained to prevent cross-contamination. Staff had received appropriate training in safeguarding and health and safety, and the service used safe recruitment practices. Although some care records required updating, this did not affect the quality of care provided, and improvements were made promptly where needed. Inspectors found that recognised assessment tools and best practice guidance were used to evaluate and monitor residents' health and wellbeing, with incidents reviewed to identify lessons and reduce future risks.
