Beech House

Beech House provides residential care and personal care to up to 27 older people. At inspection, all 27 residents were using the service. People felt safe, with risks well identified and managed. Medicines were administered safely, and infection control measures were in place with staff wearing appropriate PPE. The home was generally clean, though some areas of décor needed improvement as part of the provider's ongoing plans.

Staff demonstrated strong knowledge of safeguarding systems to protect people from abuse. Recruitment processes were robust and thorough. The service supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff working in the least restrictive way possible and always acting in residents' best interests. Policies and systems throughout the service reflected this person-centred approach.
