The CQC rated the service as requires improvement overall, though it is no longer in special measures. Inspectors found improvements in medication management, environmental safety and staffing, but the provider remains in breach of regulations on person-centred care and governance.
Feedback was mixed. Some people and relatives praised kind, caring staff and said they felt safe, but inspectors observed inconsistent engagement, task-led care and gaps between care plans and actual practice, with recent leadership changes still being embedded.
