About Beacon House

Beacon House is a residential care home in Hampshire, offering older people a place where they can feel genuinely at home. The team here understands how important it is for families to find somewhere that feels warm and familiar, not just functional. With its roots in the local community, Beacon House aims to provide residents with the kind of attentive, personal care that brings real peace of mind to the people who love them.

This residential care home accommodates up to 23 older people, many living with dementia. At inspection, 19 residents were in the main building, with seven bungalows on site used for independent living. People reported feeling happy and safely cared for by staff who knew them well.

Inspectors identified two issues with medicines management, which the manager immediately addressed to ensure people's safety. The manager acknowledged that staff recruitment files were missing some required information.
