About Bank House Care Home

Bank House Care Home is a nursing home in Bury, providing care for older people, including those living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Bank House Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 43 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, following an assessment prompted partly by a notified incident involving concerns about moving and handling. Inspectors found management oversight had improved, medication administration was better managed, and the provider was no longer in breach of regulations.

Staff were described by people and relatives as friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was calm. Some gaps in staff training and a need for more formal supervision were identified, and inspectors noted the environment still required further improvement, alongside ongoing plans to develop activities and Wi-Fi access.
