Bablake House

Bablake House accommodates up to 45 people, including those living with dementia, with 37 residents at the time of inspection. The home provides personal care and currently supports two people in short-term discharge to assessment beds to aid timely hospital discharges.

Inspectors found good infection control practices in place. Detailed and up-to-date policies and risk assessments were established to reduce infection risk. Staff and residents accessed testing in line with government guidance, with systems recording vaccination status, isolation periods and test results. Staff were observed wearing personal protective equipment appropriately, and the manager monitored compliance through observing practice to ensure alignment with training.
