Ayeesha-Raj Care Home

Ayeesha-Raj Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 20 people, and at the time of the assessment was supporting 11 people with a learning disability and or a mental health need. This follow-up inspection checked on enforcement action taken after the previous visit, when the provider had to improve infection control and governance. The CQC found these areas had improved and were no longer in breach, with the home clean, well maintained and safely staffed.

Care plans and risk assessments had been strengthened, with good involvement of people, relatives and outside professionals. Inspectors found a positive learning culture, effective oversight and good staff support. People and relatives spoke positively about safety, communication and the care provided.
