About Autumnville

Autumnville is a residential care home in Kent, providing support for a person with autism and learning disabilities. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

This residential care home supports one person with autism and learning disabilities in a purpose-adapted building. Staff observe the person to be happy and relaxed, enjoying company and smiling regularly. The service focuses on person-centred care, helping the person increase their independence and learn new skills like dressing themselves.

Staff use communication tools including picture cards to help the person express themselves, and have supported them to reduce anxieties and achieve goals previously thought unreachable. The person has been able to take holidays and has seen their communication improve significantly. Relatives report their loved one feels safe at the home, and the service maintains sufficient numbers of suitably trained staff to provide consistent support.
