Aston House

Aston House is a small residential care home supporting up to 15 people with mental health care needs, some with additional health conditions. The service accommodates younger residents than typical care homes in a converted building with a lift. At inspection, 14 people were living there, with care tailored to individual needs and regularly reviewed to ensure it remained person-centred and reflected residents' views and wishes.

Staff supported people to make choices and maintain control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. Residents reported being able to spend time doing things they enjoyed, whether socialising in the lounge or spending quiet time in their rooms. Staff knew people's needs and preferences well, treating each person as an individual.
