Astbury View

Astbury View provides personal care and accommodation for up to nine people with learning disabilities and/or autism. At inspection, eight people lived at the home. Staff supported residents to live full lives with control, choice, and independence through individualised care tailored to their needs. Staff had received training in recognising and reporting abuse, and residents felt safe in their care. The registered manager properly notified CQC and the local authority of any incidents and concerns as required by law.

The home had quality assurance systems in place to drive continuous improvements. However, inspectors found that some issues identified during the inspection had not been picked up through managerial observations or in-house audits, indicating gaps in the home's oversight processes.
