Aspen Lodge Care Home

Aspen Lodge Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 20 people, supporting 19 at the time of assessment. The CQC found the home had made the improvements needed since its last inspection and was no longer in breach of regulations, moving its rating from requires improvement to good.

Inspectors found a safe environment, effective governance and a person-centred culture where people and relatives felt listened to. Staff understood individual preferences well, and people said they felt safe and well cared for. Some further development of care records and staff training was planned to build on this progress.
