Delrose

Delrose is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to nine people with learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of inspection, visiting professionals from the local authority and NHS services had identified widespread examples of poor and unsafe care. The provider acknowledged that standards had slipped and was cooperating with a large scale safeguarding enquiry, working to a thorough improvement plan.

The service did not consistently support people to have choice, control and independence. Care planning did not always ensure that people's freedoms were restricted only when necessary, and the environment was not consistently safe, clean and well-maintained.
