Ashgrove Nursing Home

Ashgrove Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 57 people across two separate units. The service supports older people, younger adults, and people living with dementia, with one area specialising in dementia care and the other in nursing care for people leaving hospital. At the time of inspection, 45 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified significant concerns with medication management. People did not always receive their medicines as prescribed, with gaps found in medicine administration records. Staff were unable to confirm whether people had received their medications, raising serious questions about the safety and consistency of care delivery.
