Orchid Care Home

Orchid Care Home provides nursing and personal care for older people, including those living with complex needs. The CQC rated the home outstanding overall, following an assessment prompted by earlier concerns about staffing and safeguarding.

Inspectors found a compassionate, well-trained staff team delivering person-centred care, with strong leadership and effective systems for keeping people safe and improving quality. People and relatives spoke highly of staff commitment, workforce diversity and the sense of family within the home. Residents were supported to pursue activities they enjoyed, including trips out and swimming, and no significant shortfalls were identified.
