Ridgeway Rise

Ridgeway Rise is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 34 people aged 65 and over across six units in one purpose-built building. The environment is welcoming, with many positive interactions observed between staff, people and their relatives. People reported feeling safe and enjoying living there, with staff described as kind and caring.

Medicines are managed safely by trained staff, and effective systems are in place to protect people from harm. While sufficient staff are available to respond promptly to support requests, some people felt staff did not always have time to sit and speak with them. Staff feel supported and receive training to develop their skills, and recruitment processes enable safer hiring decisions.
