Ashford Lodge

Ashford Lodge is a residential care home providing personal care to people with learning disabilities. Inspectors found people were supported by staff who knew them well and helped them take part in activities they enjoyed, with people appearing happy and content during the visit. Most relatives felt their loved ones were safe and supported to be as independent as possible, though feedback was not entirely consistent.

The CQC identified some shortfalls, including a breach of regulation, but the home's overall rating remains Good. Inspectors did not find their own observations supported the more negative views expressed by a small number of relatives.
