Ashbourne House - Stockport

Ashbourne House provides care and accommodation for up to 23 older people, though 17 were residing there at the time of inspection. The home's capacity had been temporarily reduced to maintain infection prevention and control standards and minimise risk to residents.

The service demonstrated good practice in managing visitor safety during restrictions. Staff implemented an innovative procedure for outside visiting and created a dedicated room with a large sealed window and intercom system, enabling residents to maintain meaningful contact with friends and relatives while protecting their wellbeing.
