Ash Hall Nursing Home

Ash Hall Nursing Home provides nursing care for people with a range of health needs. Following a review prompted by concerns raised about the service, the CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, identifying breaches of regulations relating to safe care and treatment and to governance.

Inspectors found problems with the safety of the environment, staffing levels, risk management and medicines handling. People did not always feel involved in their care, treated with dignity, or confident their concerns would be listened to and acted on. Infection control practices were found to be effective, and the home was clean, but wider improvements are still needed to ensure people receive safe, well-organised care.
