Ash Court Care Home

Ash Court Care Home provides care and support for older people and those living with dementia, with capacity for up to 42 people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, following an inspection prompted by concerns about serious injuries over the previous year. Inspectors found staff to be kind, attentive and respectful, supporting people to make their own choices, with good access to healthcare when needed.

However, shortfalls were identified in medicines management, and care plans were sometimes inconsistent or not regularly reviewed. Some areas of the building needed updating, and storage arrangements meant escape routes were not always kept clear. People and relatives spoke positively about staff and leadership, though some felt activities were limited and were unsure how to raise formal complaints.
