Whitestone Lodge

Whitestone Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 20 older people, without nursing. At the time of assessment 13 people were living there. The CQC rated the home as requires improvement overall, finding a breach relating to good governance, with weaknesses in risk management, incident analysis and staff supervision, though improvements had been made since the last inspection.

Inspectors found staff to be caring and respectful, with people well supported around food, health and consent. However, there was little meaningful activity on offer, and information given to families was sometimes inaccurate. The home is no longer in special measures.
