Whitestone Lodge

Whitestone Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 20 people in a converted building over two floors. At the time of inspection, the service was at full capacity.

However, risks to people's health, safety and welfare were not always properly assessed, monitored and managed. Risk assessments had not been completed for people with conditions that posed potential risks to their physical and mental health, and no risk management plans were in place where needed. Safety checks on the environment, utilities and equipment were not consistently completed, and records lacked clear instructions on check frequency, locations and responsibility assignments.
