Redesdale Court

Redesdale Court provides nursing and personal care to up to 53 older people, including those living with dementia. One unit operates as an NHS consultant-led facility offering short-term respite and rehabilitation care, typically following hospital stays. At the time of inspection, 52 people were receiving care at the home.

Staff were extremely caring and motivated, going "above and beyond" to meet people's needs. People and relatives gave numerous examples of staff commitment and dedication. Staff valued residents as individuals, appreciating their unique skills, attributes and personalities. They actively encouraged independence and celebrated residents' achievements, with people feeling genuinely valued at the home.
