About Redesdale Court

Redesdale Court is a nursing home in North Tyneside, providing personal care across a number of separate communities, including support for people living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Redesdale Court provides personal care for up to 76 people across four "communities", including people living with dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall, following an unannounced assessment prompted by concerns about care, staffing and infection control.

Inspectors found a cheerful atmosphere, sufficient staff, safe medicines management and a clean, well-maintained home, with falls reduced through targeted work. Most people and relatives felt needs were met and concerns listened to, though some raised issues around distressed behaviours affecting others, activities provision, and slow follow-up on individual concerns, which management said had since been addressed.
