Allswell Lodge

Allswell Lodge is a residential care home providing support to a small number of people with a learning disability and autistic spectrum disorder. The CQC found the service was performing well and meeting expectations, rating it Good overall. Risks to people's safety were properly assessed, with clear guidance for staff, and checks such as DBS and mental capacity assessments had been reviewed to ensure safe, effective care.

Inspectors found staff were kind, compassionate and supportive, with staffing levels meeting people's needs. People were involved in planning their own care and communication needs were well understood. Family members spoke positively, describing staff as going "above and beyond" and expressing confidence in the care provided.
