Adelaide Lodge Care Home

Adelaide Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 48 people, including those living with dementia and other mental and physical health issues. At inspection, 40 people were residing at the service. People felt safe and relatives expressed confidence in the staff team. Staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding procedures and risk management, with medicines safely managed and regular health and safety checks carried out on the premises and equipment. The home was clean and well maintained.

Staff followed good hygiene practices when providing personal care and handling food to reduce infection risk. A stable staff team with good knowledge of residents' needs ensured sufficient staffing levels to meet people's care requirements.
