About Acacia Lodge

Acacia Lodge is a residential care home in Barnet, offering accommodation and personal care to adults, including those living with dementia, mental health needs or physical disabilities. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the service.

Acacia Lodge provides accommodation and personal care, including respite care, for up to 32 people, some living with dementia, mental health needs or physical disabilities. At the time of the assessment, 23 people lived at the home.

The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding five breaches of regulations covering safe care, staffing, nutrition and hydration, person-centred care and governance. People and staff spoke positively about the caring, approachable nature of the team, but inspectors found risks were not always managed safely, medicines support was inconsistent, and care plans did not always reflect individual needs or preferences.
