Abbey Healthcare- Aarandale Manor

Aarandale Manor is a nursing home providing accommodation, nursing and personal care to 32 people, including some living with dementia, across three floors of one adapted building. The service can accommodate up to 65 people. Despite recent management changes, significant improvements have been made in how the home is managed and the quality of care provided. Relatives confirmed that the quality of care has remained consistently good and people are safe, even throughout the transitions in leadership.

Staff support people safely while considering their individual needs, choices and wishes. Health, medical and care risks have been properly assessed and documented with clear guidance on how to minimise them. People receive their medicines safely and as prescribed, with effective systems in place to support this. The home follows robust recruitment procedures to ensure staff are assessed as safe to work with vulnerable adults, and inspectors observed adequate staffing levels to support people safely.
