The service demonstrated a strong commitment to person-centred care, empowering people to live positive lives with choice and control over their support. Staff encouraged independence and fostered an ethos that promoted dignity and good access to local communities.

Residents felt safe in the home, and staff showed clear awareness of safeguarding practices to protect people from abuse.

The home managed risks effectively through thorough assessments and mitigation strategies, ensuring people could be supported safely. Medicines were handled according to proper safety procedures. Overall, the service demonstrated that it was meeting statutory guidance principles by providing the right support, care and culture for the people it serves.
