About Yorklea Nursing Home

Yorklea Nursing Home is located in Manchester and provides both residential and nursing care for people with age-related health problems or physical disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Yorklea Nursing Home provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 35 people with age-related health problems or physical disabilities. At inspection, the home accommodated 24 people across four floors, with 16 having high dependency and nursing care needs. The home maintained a stable staff team with low turnover and sufficient staffing levels to keep people safe and well, though a vacancy in the activities worker position limited people's access to activities.

Staff use risk assessments and care plans to support people based on their individual needs and preferences. People receive their medicines safely, and the home maintains good standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout.
