Polonia Residential Home

This care home supports up to 9 people aged 65 and over, primarily from eastern European backgrounds living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 8 people were residing at the service.

Residents reported feeling safe, and staff demonstrated knowledge of recognizing abuse and understood reporting procedures. Risk assessments were in place for each person, covering their specific health needs. Staff could articulate individual risks and how to manage them effectively. The home maintained good environmental safety standards and managed infection control well, with the premises clean and free from odour.
