Chorlton Place Nursing Home

Chorlton Place Nursing Home accommodates up to 48 people aged 65 and over, with the ground floor supporting those living with dementia and the first floor providing nursing care. All rooms are single occupancy with en-suite toilets, and shared accessible bathrooms are available on each floor. At the time of inspection, 45 people were being supported.

Inspectors identified concerns with medicines management, which placed people at risk of harm. Residents reported insufficient staffing levels to meet their needs, and recruitment records did not consistently demonstrate that policies were being followed, though the provider gave assurances about current recruitment practices. Staff did not always follow appropriate infection control principles and guidance.
