This care home was previously rated 'Inadequate' due to multiple concerns including unsafe medicine management, inadequate risk assessment, poor nutrition provision, staffing issues and weak governance. Inspectors noted that some of these problems had been identified in earlier visits. Whilst the home performed well in caring for residents and responding to their needs, safety and leadership required significant improvement.

Following the previous inspection, the provider was asked to submit an action plan detailing how they would address the identified breaches and raise standards across key areas. The home was placed into special measures to ensure progress on these critical improvements.
