Woodside Court

Woodside Court provides personal care to up to ten people with mental health needs in an adapted residential setting. During the inspection, nine people were using the service. The home manages premises risks through regular fire, electrical, gas and water safety checks, and assesses care-related risks with clear guidance for staff. Medicines are managed safely, and staffing levels are adequate with robust recruitment procedures in place to ensure suitability for working with vulnerable people.

Staff understand safeguarding responsibilities and support people to make choices about their care in the least restrictive way possible. People are involved in decisions about their support, and staff receive training to understand and meet individual needs. The home provides food of people's choice, and risk management systems support safe practice across all areas of the service.
